I kind of buy the idea of a distraction. When I talked to Gold Mouse, it sounded a bit like there was a pretty sudden change in attitude. I almost wonder if the government has been infiltrated by someone with their own agenda.
Will and I were thinking about that, too. It feels way too sudden, and when Phoenix said the order to execute Mika came from someone above the mayor and the other officials it made me wonder why they had to listen in the first place.
