We don't have proof of that. We don't know who locked the doors on us, and how all of us fell asleep, but we do know there's probably been someone watching all of us for a really long time. Maybe even longer than we've been here. They might not've known what would happen, but I doubt they weren't expecting something to happen.

There's no point speculating on what ifs, I guess. Probably they locked us in expecting this to happen, and that the same might happen this week. We need to be ready for that.
This goes back to the part where there are probably at least a few of us here who don't know how to fight that well. How do we protect them?

Teaching them, I guess. Maybe giving them weapons that make it easier? On a crew, you can just protect people who aren't as strong, but here... That's not going to be an option.
If people ran out of tokens, I suppose I don't mind using one of mine to buy them a basic weapon to train with. Depending on the person and the weapon. At least we'd know who had one if it ever became relevant.
Regular weapons are just one token, so it shouldn't be that much for people to afford them... But I guess keeping track might be a problem. We don't know everyone's entire list of skills either, no matter what they put on those profiles. I've got stuff missing from mine.

It's the keeping track that concerns me, especially since we really don't have a way to verify people's tokens or purchases. The cards aren't a great indicator because people can hide and trade them. And...there is also that. I've got stuff missing from mine, too. I don't think anybody's profile has all of the answers.
We can try to keep track of what we know individually, but it's... I don't know. It's weird to get to know people just in case they might become dangerous.
It's weirder to avoid them and paint a target on ourselves as disposable. I don't think we all have to be very close, but it's better for us to try and get to know enough to be able to strategize if we have to.
I wasn't planning to avoid anyone, personally. I know it's what we have to do, but it feels almost like playing into their hands to think of everyone as a potential enemy.
It's not something I want to do either. Our hands are being forced, and they're going to be forced even further if someone does come at us and we have to defend ourselves. Does it even count if it's self-defense? What about if we subdue them to arrest them without an execution? Why is the answer to this murder?
