Not even criminals deserve that. It's twisted to outlaw things and then turn around and use it when you're above the law and call it a necessary evil. It shouldn't work like that. When you get that far, it's not justice anymore -- it loses all meaning.

Actively vouching for things like torture and stuff isn't going to make you very popular. If we're ever in a tough situation, like those... forced votes... I just don't want people to make rash decisions based off of things.
