We're already dealing with enough as it is without people adding unnecessary tension to the atmosphere, I think. Is all.
Actively vouching for things like torture and stuff isn't going to make you very popular. If we're ever in a tough situation, like those... forced votes... I just don't want people to make rash decisions based off of things.
...Yeah. I'm pretty sure they'd have executed anyone who's name we gave on Saturday. And since they're clearly hoping for the same thing to happen again...
